BOMB PROOF® Sissy Squat Quad Blaster - The BP-59 American Made Sissy Squat Machine by Bomb Proof is designed to isolate the quadriceps muscles in the thighs while disengaging the hamstrings and glutes. The Sissy Squat exercise is a great alternative to leg extensions and makes a great finisher after prime movers such as squats or leg presses. Contrary to its name, the Sissy Squat is capable of providing one of the most intense and results producing quad workouts for any trainee at any fitness level. Use the Sissy Squat leg developer utilizing the resistance provided from your own bodyweight or you can add additional resistance by holding a weight plate across your chest or by holding a kettlebell or dumbbell.
The Bomb Proof BP-59 is a commercial quality Sissy Squat machine with a frame fabricated from 2” x 2” x 11 gauge steel and fully-mig welded for a rock solid workout without bolts or other fasteners that can come loose and wobble. The 13” high x 20” wide calf pad utilizes 2” thick dense foam padding reducing pinch points in the calf and back of the knee by helping to distribute the weight of the user more evenly throughout. A steel anti-skid diamond plate platform is combined with pop-pin adjustable foot rollers and calf pad to allow any size user to lock in firmly for the best quad isolation possible.
